Many COVID-19 testing options are currently available including free SHIELD IL testing through the Whiteside County Health Department and other SHIELD IL Sites, testing through healthcare providers and pharmacies, and reimbursement for at-home tests through healthcare plans. Whiteside County Health Department Community SHIELD Testing
The Whiteside County Health Department is pleased to be partnering with SHIELD Illinois to offer our community FREE COVID-19 PCR testing. Individuals interested in taking advantage of this highly accurate test will need a SHIELD IL account and to provide a saliva sample at the testing tent through our northmost parking lot.Do Not eat, drink, brush your teeth, use mouthwash, or smoke for 1 hour before submitting your saliva sample.
Individuals MUST have a SHIELD IL account to view results.

WCHD’s Testing Schedule - No Appointment Necessary
(Closed Daily from 1:00pm to 1:45pm)
Monday: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Tuesday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Wednesday: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am to 1:00pm
