Cheryl Lee joined the Whiteside County Health Department in July of 2019.  She currently serves as the organization's Public Health Administrator and Chief Executive Officer, providing administrative oversight of a public health department with a Federally Qualified Health Center, successfully navigating the organization through the Covid-19 pandemic.  Her professional experience has centered on public health administration.  She has 30 years of experience that includes local, state, and federal levels, as well as, working at two schools of medicine.  Her passion is the health and well-being of the communities she serves.  She holds a Master's degree in Community Health and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
